Religion of Good
Saturday May 3, 2025 12:00pm - 1:30pm PDT
Ivan Richmond will present ideas and lead meditation from is new book, Religion of Good: A Spiritual Guide for Ethical Individuals of Any Religion, which tackles the modern problem of realizing morality in the west, using a spiritual and mystical approach. If you’re like Ivan, you feel that neither philosophy, nor religious dogma, nor even intuition really gets at the heart of what’s good. Reason explodes into too many possibilities and definitions to make sense of the subject. There’s no way to verify religious dogma. Moral intuition only works if we all have the same intuition. As a Wiccan priest, he combines the Neoplatonic roots of the Western Mystery Tradition with his Wiccan training. Through myth, ceremony, and mysticism, climbing the Pythagorean Tetractys, we can move our minds from a material understanding of nature to a mystical vision of unity, and thereby of morality.

Eastern Astrology
Saturday May 3, 2025 1:30pm - 3:00pm PDT
You've probably heard of the 12 animals of the eastern zodiac wheel. In this class, we will cover not only what the animals are and how they relate to each other, but also how the five eastern elements can influence a person's life and their relationships in romance, business, and even friendships. We will also cover karmic numerology (mewas), and how the nine karmic relations between lifetimes influence your astrological reading. We will also explore how each person's trigrams/parkhas rotate throughout the year and how its astrological system can be taken advantage of to imrove one's day-to-day life.
This course will be a combination of the two main astrological systems applied in East Asia: the Chinese system and its sphere of influence (Korea, Manchuria, Vietnam, Japan, and parts of southeast Asia), and the Tibetan system and its sphere of influence (Mongolia, Central Asia, Turkic & Tungusic Siberia)."

Witchcraft in Suburbia: A Witches Guide to Magick in the Cul-De-Sac
Saturday May 3, 2025 3:30pm - 5:00pm PDT
Come explore how the things we do everyday in the 'burbs can naturally and very easily have a magickal element to it.
Make your morning coffee magick, how to not accidentally curse someone while you’re driving, how to not dismiss yourself as a witch just because you wear yoga pants to get dressed up for going to the store and not for yoga. This workshop discusses a suburban witchcraft practice by offering spells, mantras and other tools.
Suburban life experience is just as magickal and spiritual as any others. Join me as we discuss the many advantages of being the witch next door. We suburban witches absolutely have an equal place at the witchcraft table.

Under the Wings of Isis: The Greater Mysteries of Making Offering
Saturday May 3, 2025 3:30pm - 5:30pm PDT
Discover potent ancient Egyptian techniques for deep connection with the Divine. The eternal act of making offering weaves connection between human and Divine, Divine and human. It is one of the most important ways we communicate with our Deities.

Hallowed by tradition and empowered by magic, offering was vital to ancient Egyptian worship. And it is just as important today.

As an active form of ritual prayer, offering enables us to participate directly in the creative energy of the universe—and in the sacred, living magic of the Great Egyptian Goddess Isis.

We’ll discuss the theory and practice of Egyptian offering rites, then we’ll participate together in a ritual that “Opens the Ways” to Isis as we make offering to Her—and receive blessings of power and protection from Her in return.

Claiming the Crone: Exploring Elderhood
Saturday May 3, 2025 5:30pm - 7:00pm PDT
What if aging wasn’t a long, difficult road into invisibility and diminishment? What if we disrupted the idea that our value decreases as our age increases? What if we claimed the power of the crone? This workshop is for those who are in their crone years, those approaching that threshold, and the crone curious.

The image of the crone as an old scary hag was used to take power from wise elder women. Come be a part of the growing movement to reclaim the power and responsibility of the crone. Aging is a privilege and we can reinvent the image of the crone as a thriving, visible, and vocal woman.

Join us as we celebrate the wisdom gained from our experience. Let’s gather together to share the grief of what has passed from us, our rage at what lies around us, the challenges of this time in our life, and our capacity to live now and into the future with vitality and in connection. Let us explore all the ways we can move into this era of our life with vision and vigor.

Kispum Ritual Pagan Ritual for the Dying, Grief, and Bereavment
Saturday May 3, 2025 5:30pm - 7:00pm PDT
Kispum is a ritual of relationships with the dead that began in Sumerian/Akkadian (2500 BCE) culture and continues today.

The workshop is part exploration of practices and one part ritual for the Pagan and occult communities to maintain connections with departed loved ones and honor ancestors. I incorporate Continuing Bonds Theory as a modern (1970s) alternative to the Western Detachment Theory of “letting go” of the dead. This perspective embraces the idea of ongoing relationships beyond death, focusing on rituals, commemorations, and sacred practices that sustain these connections.

My modern take emphasizes the significance of these enduring ties, providing insight into how such traditions and rituals within Pagan spirituality foster a sense of continuity and reverence for the deceased within the living world. It is a living practice with prayers that have ancient roots but are designed for modern practitioners. It is ongoing work.
