Polly Springhorn is an M.Div. student at Cherry Hill Seminary, studying Theology and Religious History. She is also a Gardnerian High Priestess, initiated in 1996, elevated to 3rd degree in 2002, and the leader of the Gardnerian Coven Daoine Sidhe (DEE-nah shee) in Oakland, California since 2008. If that weren't enough to keep her busy, Polly is an assemblage artist creating magical icons with beads, buttons, and vintage jewelry parts. She's also a composer, performer, and improviser equally at home in the worlds of free improvisation, composition, rock, and choral singing. She plays flutes and/or sings with the duo B Experimental Band,
Usufruct, Ghost in the House, and
Reconnaissance Fly.
Her compositions and flute choir arrangements are available from
ALRY Publications.
